Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Business Operations Governance Analyst in the United States.

The position is central to keeping complex, cross-functional programs running smoothly within a fast-moving federal health setting. In this role, you will connect technical and non-technical groups, support operational alignment, surface and manage risks, and help resolve issues so work stays on schedule. The job calls for strong analytical capability and the ability to turn operational challenges into clear, practical recommendations. You will also contribute to reporting, documentation, and process improvements that strengthen consistency and delivery across programs. This is a mission-driven environment where your work will support stakeholders across multiple workstreams and contribute to services that affect veterans and public health.

Core accountabilities

  • Facilitate coordination across client-facing and internal teams so program goals remain aligned and execution stays on track.
  • Monitor operational risks and issues, assist with mitigation efforts, and escalate concerns when needed to protect program stability.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, analysis, and reporting materials that support governance and decision-making.
  • Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to keep communication clear and workflows moving without disruption.
  • Help maintain continuity across several workstreams in a high-paced delivery environment.
  • Support tracking of processes, operational reporting, and execution monitoring through standard productivity software.

Required background

  • At least 5 years of experience in business operations, program support, or a similar analytical function.
  • A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to operational details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for collaboration across functions.
  • Comfort working with varied technical and non-technical teams.
  • Exposure to operational workflows, governance structures, or enterprise program environments.
  • Ability to use collaboration and productivity tools for tracking and reporting work.
  • Experience in federal, healthcare, or large-scale IT settings is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data operations, or system integration environments would be beneficial.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers an annual salary of $85,093 to $108,100, with the final amount depending on experience and location.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave arrangements.
  • Paid parental, military, and family leave.
  • Life insurance, disability coverage, and optional supplemental insurance choices.
  • Flexible remote working arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Professional learning and development opportunities.
  • Exposure to modern technologies such as cloud, AI, and automation.

Application and data notice

Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to rank candidates against the role’s core requirements. The shortlist is then shared with the hiring company, which manages interviews, assessments, and final selection.

By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and shared with the employer under applicable data protection principles, including legitimate interest and pre-contractual processing where relevant. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to the processing of your data at any time.

AI tools may also be used to support parts of the hiring workflow, such as resume review and response analysis. These tools assist recruiters but do not replace human decision-making, and final hiring outcomes are determined by people.
