Overview
This role involves partnering with MENA PAK Foods teams in the Gulf and Levant regions to improve and automate business reporting processes that accelerate business performance. The analyst will integrate multiple data sources, create curated and calculated metrics with an emphasis on key outcome and diagnostic indicators. A thorough expertise in Nielsen and Retail Zoom databases and tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update recurring trackers and reports consistently.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly business reports and trackers efficiently.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests and diagnostics from relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in developing business intelligence capabilities and innovations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and automation teams to introduce new functionalities.
- Ensure timely execution of projects along with proper training and adoption facilitation.
- Conduct targeted research projects for the Business Unit (BU) team as required.
- Coordinate responses to both recurring and ad hoc stakeholder inquiries.
- Advise and establish optimal methods to address executive questions using data insights.
- Support full-year portfolio and brand deep dive analyses before Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning.
- Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) as the Insights Supervisor within Business Insights.
- Generate market, portfolio, and brand-level marketing KPI reports utilizing dashboards, templated presentations, and various reporting platforms.
- Explain business performance by integrating data analysis with broader contextual understanding.
- Identify key business drivers, opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable insights.
- Deliver detailed follow-up responses incorporating tables, charts, and data narratives to address additional questions.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Experienced mid-level insight or analytics professional with over 4 years in leading consumer goods organizations.
- Solid background with retail audit data.
- Academic background in economics, mathematics, marketing, or management.
- Fluent in English communication.
- Proven ability to champion initiatives that enhance fact-based decision-making processes.
- Skilled in synthesizing diverse data sets into clear growth strategies, articulating insights with strong storytelling capabilities.
- Strong collaborator with enthusiasm for co-creating solutions across brands and markets and embracing adaptive work methodologies.
- Able to translate insights and research findings into impactful business strategies and improved reporting.
- Well-versed in analytics, shopper research, consumer insights, or commercial roles complemented by strong analytical skills.
- Extensive familiarity with CPG and food & beverage industry data sources such as Nielsen, IRi, GlobalData, and Kantar.
- Understanding of industry-specific performance metrics, commercial outputs, and the ability to visualize business insights effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with competency in complex formulas.
- Experience with Tableau and PowerBI is advantageous.
