Job description
About Us
Reachdesk is a leading global SaaS platform for gifting and swag, enabling B2B companies to foster meaningful connections with their prospects, customers, and employees, thereby driving measurable ROI. We believe gifting is a powerful tool for building genuine human connections that contribute to business growth. Our platform simplifies the process of delivering personalized gifts, branded merchandise, and memorable event experiences at scale, integrating automated sourcing, storage, and worldwide delivery. We are trusted by prominent technology and SaaS companies and integrate seamlessly with marketing, sales, and HRIS systems. Our team operates from hubs in New York, London, and Lisbon. We are expanding and seeking a Business Insights Analyst to join our Business Systems & Operations team.
The Role
This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on understanding the interplay between sales, customer service, operations, and financial performance, and who is eager to leverage AI to accelerate and clarify these connections. You will act as a central point of contact, bridging insights from various departments by utilizing available data and reporting from relevant systems. Your role will involve assisting leaders in applying consistent commercial and operational definitions to business performance metrics, enabling them to see a comprehensive picture that individual departments might not achieve alone.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to grasp their strategic decision-making needs.
- Analyze data from commercial, financial, and operational systems to generate insights that link different facets of the business.
- Utilize AI to significantly reduce the time required for data synthesis, transforming days of work into hours, and to maintain consistency in key metric definitions across all functions.
- Communicate complex data narratives effectively to diverse audiences, including commercial, financial, and operational stakeholders.
- Develop concise summaries and reproducible insight reports to empower teams to independently address follow-up questions.
- Experiment with AI-driven insight workflows, prompt engineering techniques, evaluation methods, and lightweight automation, and disseminate successful strategies within the team.
About You
- Possess 2-4 years of experience in an analyst, insights, strategy, or consulting capacity, with exposure to multiple business functions.
- Demonstrate fluency in at least two of the following areas: commercial (revenue, retention, go-to-market strategies), financial (profit & loss, unit economics, financial planning & analysis), or operational (throughput, fulfillment processes, cycle times).
- Exhibit an AI-native working style, actively using Large Language Models (LLMs) as a fundamental part of your thought process and demonstrating enthusiasm for advancing AI applications.
- Possess strong storytelling abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to tailor communication effectively for executives such as Chief Revenue Officers, Chief Financial Officers, or Heads of Operations.
- Be comfortable working with spreadsheets and reporting tools. While not mandatory, a working knowledge of SQL is beneficial.
Preferred Expertise
- Experience within the B2B SaaS sector.
- Familiarity with platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, or the corporate gifting and direct mail industry.
- Prior experience with experiment design, attribution modeling, pricing strategies, or operational throughput modeling.
Why Join Us
- Become part of a team that views AI as a practical tool for enhancement rather than a mere buzzword.
- Gain a unique, cross-functional perspective within the company, understanding how all components of Reachdesk integrate.
- Work alongside a small, senior Business Systems & Operations team focused on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.
The Benefits
- Competitive remuneration package including substantial stock options.
- Pension scheme with employer contributions (NEST).
- Affordable Private Medical Insurance, offering mental health support and rapid access to healthcare services.
- Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) that increases with tenure, plus additional flexibility for unforeseen personal circumstances.
- A truly collaborative work environment populated by innovative, engaging, and ambitious individuals.
