About Emma – The Sleep Company

Emma is a global sleep brand founded in 2015 that has grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer company in its category. The business operates in more than 35 markets and has over 15 retail stores across Europe. Its purpose is to create sleep comfort products that help customers wake up feeling their best every day. The company is built around an international, high-performing team that values accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning. With colleagues representing more than 70 nationalities, Emma brings together different perspectives to drive innovation and long-term impact.

Role Overview

As Business Excellence Manager, you will help shape and scale regional commercial excellence for Emma’s European D2C business. The role focuses on building repeatable campaign structures, test-and-learn frameworks, and implementation playbooks that improve adoption and deliver measurable results across markets.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of regional commercial excellence across Europe by designing scalable campaign setups, best-practice frameworks, experimentation pipelines, and rollout guides that improve performance across markets.
  • Work closely with EU country teams to strengthen forecasting, budget planning, and visibility into market performance, while aligning with Controlling on trends, risks, opportunities, and P&L impact.
  • Track process rollout, governance, and KPI delivery across markets and functions, surfacing risks and growth levers that can accelerate Emma’s expansion in Europe.
  • Shape and drive high-impact cross-country initiatives that create regional advantages, embed proven practices, and support clear decision-making across European markets.
  • Develop systems, processes, and playbooks that allow local teams to achieve consistent commercial outcomes independently while staying aligned with regional goals.
  • Act as a trusted partner to country teams by enabling knowledge sharing, performance scaling, and strategic alignment while preserving local ownership.
  • Lead strategic initiatives where operations, commercial strategy, and execution intersect, ensuring coordinated delivery and tangible business impact across Europe.

What We Are Looking For

  • You are a strategic, structured thinker who can connect campaign mechanics, financial KPIs, and supply limitations into practical regional plans.
  • You bring 3–5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or consulting, preferably in e-commerce or other performance-oriented settings.
  • You work with a strong ownership mindset, taking initiative and defining the approach without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • You are comfortable using data to guide decisions, measure impact, and question assumptions in campaign or financial planning.
  • You can lead cross-functional collaboration through influence, bringing Global, Regional, and Local teams into alignment.
  • You are execution-focused, able to prioritize effectively and maintain high operational standards in a fast-moving environment.
  • You communicate confidently in English and can work effectively across multicultural, distributed teams.
