Role overview

Baraya Extended Care is hiring an experienced and performance-oriented Business Development Specialist for its healthcare operations in Abha. This role focuses on uncovering expansion opportunities, forming strategic alliances, carrying out market studies, and contributing to revenue growth initiatives while staying aligned with business objectives and healthcare compliance requirements.

Core responsibilities

  • Spot and pursue fresh business opportunities and partnership prospects.
  • Develop productive, long-term relationships with healthcare providers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Carry out market research, competitor benchmarking, and feasibility assessments.
  • Support sales, marketing, and brand-building efforts to strengthen market presence.
  • Drive business development plans forward and monitor progress on initiatives.
  • Take part in discussions involving negotiations, contracts, and partnership arrangements.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure business development activities are coordinated.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development is expected, ideally within the healthcare industry.
  • Applicants should have a solid understanding of healthcare market conditions and applicable regulations.

Skills and competencies

  • Background in business development and sales, preferably in the healthcare space.
  • Strong capability in analysis, verbal and written communication, and negotiation.
  • Ability to think strategically and stay focused on measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable using MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective collaborator with strong teamwork and coordination skills.
