Role Overview

Dev Story is hiring a proactive Business Development Executive with practical experience using Upwork to win projects. This role is centered on identifying suitable opportunities, preparing persuasive bids, communicating with prospective clients, and supporting project acquisition for web development and mobile application work.

Compensation

Salary is listed as up to INR 30,000 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Find suitable Upwork opportunities related to web development and mobile app projects and submit competitive bids.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Write clear, persuasive proposals customized to each client’s needs.
  • Interpret client requirements and relay them effectively to internal teams.
  • Monitor ongoing discussions and follow up promptly with prospects to move deals forward.
  • Work toward monthly goals for new project wins and revenue generation.

Requirements

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience on Upwork or a comparable freelancing marketplace.
  • Good grasp of Upwork bidding workflows, client engagement, and proposal writing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of web development and mobile application projects to bid and communicate effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, along with negotiation ability.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
