Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist focused on the fashion or jewelry sectors to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and increasing revenue streams within these industries.
- Identify and pursue new business avenues, partnerships, and revenue sources.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key industry stakeholders, brands, providers, and corporate clients.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial contracts, memoranda of understanding, and service agreements.
- Prepare customized business proposals, presentations, and partnership offers aligned with client needs.
- Manage business development from lead generation through the execution of contracts.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor research to uncover growth prospects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and fulfillment of partnership obligations.
- Support the recruitment, screening, and onboarding of trainees involved in fashion and jewelry programs.
- Establish and nurture talent pipelines via connections with educational institutions, training centers, and industry networks.
- Monitor project outcomes and compile business reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management review.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Law, or closely related disciplines.
- Proven success in business development, partnership oversight, or commercial operations.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and managing commercial documents.
- Proficient in crafting proposals and delivering professional business presentations.
- Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, particularly relating to trainee placement, is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of fashion, luxury retail, jewelry, or related industries preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and standard business communication tools.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are considered beneficial.
Additional Requirements
- Existing strong network within fashion, luxury retail, jewelry, education or training sectors.
- Commercially savvy with robust relationship-building skills.
- Professional representation skills for meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
- Proven results-oriented approach with a track record of acquiring partnerships.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is mandatory.
- Relevant experience specifically in fashion or jewelry is essential.
