Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Officer specializing in Bank Liability and CASA Relationship based in Chennai. This full-time role focuses on acquiring and managing savings and current account customers, enhancing the bank's liability portfolio, and building lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new Savings Account and Current Account customers.
- Develop and oversee the branch's liability business portfolio.
- Identify and source new-to-bank customers through referrals and market interactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing CASA customers to promote cross-selling.
- Conduct daily field visits to engage High Net Worth Individuals (HNI), Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), and retail clients for account opening.
- Ensure all documentation such as Account Opening Forms (AOF), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Central KYC (CKYC) comply with banking regulations.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets related to account volume, value, and balances.
Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of experience in banking sales, liability sales, or related fields.
- Any graduate qualification.
- Proficiency in Tamil and English communication.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory.
- Strong target orientation with persuasive communication skills.
- Experience in liability sales, CASA sales, or as a Direct Selling Agent (DSA) in banking is advantageous.
- Familiarity with banking products is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly fixed salary ranging from ₹22,000 to ₹35,000.
