About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts in Asset Finance, targeting PPB and SME Micro sectors, aligning with set revenue and portfolio targets.
- Cultivate new asset finance relationships from dealers, existing clients, and new customers while ensuring portfolio quality remains within defined delinquency thresholds.
- Collaborate closely with relationship managers and branches to source and underwrite new-to-bank asset finance within specified timeframes.
- Support trade finance operations, ensuring timely handling of letters of credit transitioning into asset-backed finance.
- Conduct joint customer visits to tailor solutions addressing their asset finance needs.
- Maintain regular communication with credit and retail banking teams to identify opportunities and track performance via dashboards and reports.
- Drive customer engagement through sales activations and educational initiatives quarterly in partnership with stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with dealer partners to guarantee effective service delivery and onboard new dealers through training and conflict resolution.
- Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met following internal procedures and regulatory standards.
- Provide stakeholder training to increase product knowledge across the organization.
- Oversee loan documentation, arrears follow-up, and portfolio sustainability to maintain a clean loan book.
- Support growth initiatives for accompanying products like Bancassurance and IPF, working alongside marketing to enhance brand presence.
- Measure market trends and competitor activities through continuous research and dealer engagement to inform business strategies.
- Manage Asset Finance specialist sales representatives located within the region, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and turnaround times.
Compliance and Governance
- Adhere strictly to banking regulations and internal compliance frameworks, including the Banking Act and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and escalate sales administrative concerns as necessary.
- Track and resolve customer complaints in alignment with service level agreements and internal audit checks.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate effectively with retail banking colleagues, branch managers, and operational teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of asset finance workflows.
- Support teams in managing customer inquiries and expediting resolution of issues and complaints promptly.
- Engage actively to meet collective business objectives.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct regular market research through diverse channels like publications, networking, and dealer visits to stay informed on industry developments.
- Analyze competitive landscapes to identify sales opportunities and marketing advantages.
Education Requirements
Candidates should possess a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies.
