Overview
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales efforts across the UAE for NICaS, a sophisticated non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring system utilized in various medical disciplines. This role requires clinical expertise to engage in credible conversations beyond simple sales pitches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process throughout the UAE, including prospecting, clinical demonstrations, managing tenders and quotations, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Develop a comprehensive sales pipeline by targeting hospitals, cardiac centers, dialysis units, and private clinics across all seven Emirates.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and heads of departments in cardiology, nephrology, and critical care.
- Drive approvals through hospital processes involving procurement, biomedical engineering, and finance departments.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support installation, training, and post-sale customer follow-up.
- Build, lead, and expand the sales team as the product line develops.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) events; regularly report pipeline status and market insights to management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience in medical device or capital equipment sales with a consistent record of closing deals in hospitals and clinics.
- Strong medical sector knowledge and understanding of healthcare environments.
- Existing network within the UAE healthcare system including hospital decision-makers, procurement, and clinical departments.
- Familiarity with hospital tender procedures, regulatory compliance under MOH/DHA/DOH, and working with distributors or group purchasing organizations.
- Experience in managing or readiness to lead and develop a sales team.
- Excellent presentation and sales skills; fluency in English is required, Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license and be willing to travel extensively across the Emirates.
