About the role

Founders Consulting is hiring a Business Development Manager for Gazer, a safety-focused technology system built around connected vehicles and community-wide responsibility. Key responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with major partners in automotive electronics, including distributors, retailers, car dealerships, online platforms, service centers, and corporate buyers.
  • Identify and approach new partners, including through cold outreach, to open new promotional channels in international markets.
  • Maintain an up-to-date partner and client database, ensuring contact information and interaction history remain accurate.
  • Lead discussions with prospective partners to launch joint projects, activations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor the market and competitor landscape to uncover fresh opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze partner and client feedback to support product improvements and service optimization.
  • Prepare reporting and business analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and support decision-making.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong English communication skills at B2+ to C1 level for working with international partners.
  • Comfort with building and working from a cold lead base; cold calls may take up most of the workday.
  • Willingness to work on an Australian schedule to maintain timely communication with clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term partner relationships.
  • Experience in automotive or electronics-related work is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially with Google tools such as Docs and Sheets.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to work with large volumes of data and draw conclusions.
