Role Overview

We are searching for a motivated and self-driven Business Advisor to join our successful field sales team in the Australia-New Zealand region, specifically located in Hamilton, New Zealand. This role involves active fieldwork, including door knocking, cold outreach, networking, and engaging with business owners directly to introduce them to the award-winning Thryv SaaS platform that streamlines operations for SMBs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads through daily prospecting and cold calling.
  • Build a client pipeline by door knocking and networking within your territory.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners to present tailored SaaS solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals and onboarding clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly new business sales targets.
  • Plan and organize your daily activities to effectively manage your assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of your sales pipeline and report progress to your Account Director.
  • Stay informed about product updates, market trends, and competitors relevant to SMBs.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated success in hunting for and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, preferably with experience in SaaS, technology, or field sales.
  • Resilient with the ability to maintain motivation and bounce back from setbacks.
  • Comfortable and confident in cold calling and direct face-to-face sales approaches.
  • Consultative sales approach, actively listening to clients to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field.
  • Well-organized and disciplined in managing schedules, pipelines, and territories.
  • Technologically adept, able to demonstrate SaaS platforms effectively to potential clients.
