Job Overview

Based in Auckland and reporting to the Business Manager of Cyber Security, this position focuses on managing and strengthening the New Zealand partnership between Ingram Micro and Fortinet, a leading cybersecurity provider. The role's key outcomes include achieving margin and revenue goals, driving channel expansion, and maintaining precise forecasting and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Surpass revenue and sales goals to help drive company growth.
  • Engage continuously with partners to broaden the product range and cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with both existing and potential partners.
  • Maintain and enhance the business relationship between Ingram Micro and Fortinet.
  • Work closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure margin and revenue objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to meet sales revenue and profitability targets.
  • Support the execution of quarterly marketing initiatives alongside the sales team to boost brand presence.
  • Partner with the Vendor Manager and support teams to sustain portfolio success.
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and reports to inform business decisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in channel sales within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Significant experience collaborating with cybersecurity partners in New Zealand.
  • Background in IT distribution is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in managing relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication capabilities.
  • Experience creating and presenting sales and territory plans effectively to stakeholders.
  • Robust analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced PowerPoint skills highly preferred.
  • Proven history managing channels in competitive markets successfully.
  • Tertiary education in Business or Marketing is desirable.
