Role overview

As the Business Development Manager for Cyber Security, you will be responsible for growing vendor sales, supporting company and vendor targets, and expanding market presence. The role requires active management of the sales channel, strengthening product penetration, and identifying opportunities to reactivate inactive accounts and win new business. You will also keep track of project bids and work to position Ingram Micro in those opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong professional relationships with key contacts across assigned partner accounts.
  • Bring together the right internal teams to meet partner goals and customer expectations.
  • Deliver assigned targets related to profitable sales volume and broader strategic outcomes.
  • Lead joint planning with partners to define shared goals, financial targets, and important milestones.
  • Encourage and drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
  • Monitor project bids and work to increase Ingram Micro’s participation in them.
  • Maintain existing relationships, revive inactive accounts, and develop fresh business opportunities.
  • Manage multiple layers of the sales channel to improve product depth and market share.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree is required.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in IT is expected.
  • Prior experience with Cisco and the Gulf market is needed.
  • A technical background is preferred.
  • You should have a strong customer-focused approach and the ability to use relationships to drive outcomes.
