About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and revenue enhancement for our digital marketing services. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in a digital or creative agency setting who can skillfully position offerings such as SEO, performance marketing, social media, branding, and content as impactful business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse industries within digital marketing and creative services.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Comprehend client needs and present tailored digital marketing strategies.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle: from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, design, performance, and content to develop effective proposals, strategies, and scopes of work.
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs with insightful, strategic proposals and presentations.
- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and identify growth prospects.
- Engage in networking events and utilize online platforms and outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, Upwork, cold outreach) for lead generation.
- Maintain detailed records of sales pipeline, leads, and client communications using CRM tools.
- Consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ demonstrated experience in business development or sales within a digital marketing or creative agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing services including SEO, SEM/PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient with CRM and lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Freelancer, etc.
- Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Consultative selling skills focused on addressing client needs and maximizing ROI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline; MBA is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
- Demonstrated success in closing mid- to large-scale deals in digital marketing or branding.
- Ability to communicate ROI-focused strategies and performance metrics clearly to clients.
- Having an existing network of clients or industry connections is advantageous.
