About the Role
The Business Development Manager (Assistant Vice President) is responsible for increasing new-to-bank customer acquisition across various channels. This role involves formulating business strategies and initiatives to boost overall business outcomes, expanding into untapped markets, and leveraging analytics to evaluate current practices and identify potential improvements. A core expectation is to generate new client leads, providing excellent service by addressing inquiries and facilitating account setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new Citigold and Citigold Private customers through both internal and external sources.
- Guide clients through the account opening process.
- Proactively engage with potential referrers and prospects to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Maintain follow-ups to convert prospects into clients and ensure consistent funding growth.
- Achieve performance metrics, including increasing new-to-bank customers, enhancing clients’ digital engagement, qualified funding, and net new investment assets.
- Provide exceptional and consistent customer service.
- Adhere to compliance and control standards outlined by Citigroup.
Qualifications and Attributes
- University degree holder; background in banking or sales preferred.
- Detail-oriented and mature personality with strong initiative and motivation.
- Effective team collaborator with strong relationship management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes when necessary.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
