Job description
Role overview
This position is focused on building and strengthening local partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands across the United Kingdom. The role aims to improve category selection, support business growth, and ensure offerings match both commercial goals and customer demand.
Partnership development
You will actively identify, engage, and grow relationships with local merchandise partners, with attention to expanding value through better category choices that align with market and customer requirements.
Merchant enablement and growth
The role involves helping partners set up successfully on the platform and supporting their expansion. You will also advise them on market positioning, product planning, brand promotion, and operational planning.
Strategy and project execution
You will contribute new ideas based on the current condition of the categories and turn those ideas into workable projects by combining resources and guiding merchants through implementation.
Market and industry analysis
A key part of the job is preparing industry analysis, reviewing data to uncover customer needs, and refining actions in response to market developments and trends.
Experience and working style
The role calls for at least 2 years of operational experience, including experience in areas such as brand management or platform operations. Candidates should be comfortable working under pressure, handling logistics during peak-demand periods, and adapting quickly when business conditions change.
Additional requirements
Having strong connections within local seller and vendor networks will be considered an advantage. You should also bring solid analytical ability, a strategic mindset, strong self-drive, and the ability to summarize findings clearly and solve problems effectively.
