Business Development Lead for SEA

Role Overview

The Business Development Lead will drive acquisition of new accounts across existing or emerging markets. The position is not centered on maintaining an existing book of business; instead, it focuses on opening doors and building relationships with fresh prospects.

This role supports commercial growth and customer development across six countries in Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on the semiconductor, medical, data center, and clean energy industries. Prior team leadership experience is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Build new business within an established territory and product line.
• Reach out to, connect with, and engage prospective customers and new clients.
• Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential business opportunities.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
• Strengthen sales capability and deepen understanding of the company's products, services, customers, and market.
• Find and apply process improvements, including tools such as distributor dashboards.

Experience and Qualifications

• A university degree such as a bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent level of relevant professional experience.
• The ideal candidate should work well in a fast-paced setting and manage several competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities are essential.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills are needed to deliver results.
• A high standard of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct is expected.
• The role requires self-accountability in meeting goals and performance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are needed to work across all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.

Work Arrangement

This is a home-based position with regular business travel throughout Southeast Asia.
