Job description

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will serve as the initial point of contact between a leading brand experience agency and prominent global companies. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and CEO from the outset, with transparent insights on the impact of your efforts. You'll have the autonomy to develop the outbound sales strategy from the ground up, determining processes and building a qualified sales pipeline. The agency is rapidly growing and recognized for its impactful work with billion-dollar brands across retail, consumer technology, wellness, and entertainment sectors.

Key Duties

  • Proactively identify and engage senior decision-makers at ambitious high-growth organizations to initiate meaningful sales conversations.
  • Focus on quality over quantity by targeting a select group of high-potential prospects, ensuring every outreach attempt is deliberate and effective.
  • Develop and own the outbound business development playbook, leveraging a variety of prospecting channels and tools.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to transition initial discussions into strategic meetings.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Between 6 and 18 months of experience in sales development roles such as SDR or BDR, preferably within agencies, technology companies, or professional services.
  • A strong inclination toward cold outreach activities and the resilience to interpret rejection as informative feedback rather than failure.
  • Excellent written communication abilities characterized by clear, jargon-free language without formulaic scripts.
  • Familiarity or quick adaptability to CRM and prospecting technologies such as Hubspot, Apollo, Lusha, or Sales Navigator.
  • A genuine curiosity about brand dynamics, consumer culture, and purchasing motivations beyond mere sales metrics.

Additional Information

Compensation includes a £40,000 base salary supplemented by an uncapped £15,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE). This fully remote role is based in the London E2 area with a hybrid work approach. There is a clear career progression path within an agency celebrated for producing some of the most remarkable brand experience campaigns in the industry.
