Role overview
This role sits within a business operations team that tackles complex, high-priority problems. The work involves digging into data, turning findings into clear business recommendations, and helping senior stakeholders move from analysis to action. The position is based in Bengaluru, with an option to indicate a preferred work location between Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Hyderabad, Telangana.
The role requires working hours aligned with the North American time zone.
What you will do
- Own one or more complex analytical initiatives or strategic workstreams as an individual contributor, using data to uncover key market drivers, build insight, and shape testable hypotheses.
- Create and maintain reporting approaches, data pipelines, and interactive dashboards in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into solution designs that satisfy user expectations, quality standards, and long-term sustainability.
- Resolve competing stakeholder priorities by clarifying the underlying issue and evaluating the assumptions behind each position.
- Present business findings, recommendations, and delivery roadblocks to senior leaders and the wider organization in a clear and persuasive way.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Science, or another closely related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 6 years of experience analyzing industry trends and converting data into business insights in a corporate, data-driven setting.
- Practical experience with SQL, data-set analysis, data pipeline development, and reporting dashboard design.
Preferred qualifications
- A master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- About 5 years of experience with experiment design, statistical modeling, measurement, and spotting business opportunities.
- Strong data-analysis ability in complex, fast-changing, and ambiguous environments, along with sound business judgment and reliable analytical intuition.
- Experience shaping or influencing decisions made by senior leadership through analytical recommendations.
- Familiarity with Google tools such as Plex.
- Ability to communicate analysis and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
