Role Overview
The Business Coordinator specializing in Government Relations and Executive Support will play a pivotal role in cultivating strategic partnerships with government entities. This position is tasked with assessing and managing government-driven incentives, grants, localization efforts, funding avenues, and business support frameworks that align with the Group and its subsidiaries. Additionally, the role provides robust executive support to the Chief Commercial Officer by overseeing executive schedules, facilitating strategic projects, managing communications, and ensuring the execution of priority business tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain strategic ties with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and development agencies, acting as the main liaison for government interaction.
- Identify, assess, coordinate, and track government incentives, grants, localization initiatives, Vision 2030 programs, and funding opportunities, managing application processes and follow-ups.
- Represent the company during official meetings and events with government representatives, maintaining comprehensive records, and delivering executive insights on business-enhancing opportunities.
- Manage the Chief Commercial Officer's calendar, executive priorities, meetings, travel plans, and strategic commitments to optimize time effectiveness.
- Draft executive communications including correspondence, presentations, meeting agendas, minutes, and status reports while ensuring prompt completion of action items.
- Support seamless communication and coordination among executive leaders, business units, and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.
- Organize visits from government officials, strategic partners, customers, investors, and VIP guests to ensure professional and hospitable experiences.
- Arrange logistical aspects of meetings, executive schedules, presentations, site visits, and oversee protocol and hospitality standards.
- Prepare executive briefing materials and manage follow-up actions post visits to secure fruitful stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate committee meetings by organizing agendas, presentations, supporting documents, and minute-taking.
- Monitor committee action points, oversee implementation across units, and report progress to senior management.
- Assist in executing strategic commercial initiatives through effective coordination, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional projects involving subsidiaries, corporate departments, and leadership to advance strategic company goals.
- Develop executive dashboards, reports, and updates detailing government interactions, strategic progress, business opportunities, risks, and planned actions.
- Propose enhancements to processes that improve executive coordination, stakeholder relations, and overall operational efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Thorough understanding of Saudi governmental agencies, programs, and business support schemes.
- Knowledgeable about government incentives, localization strategies, investment prospects, and regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced skills in report compilation and presentation creation.
- Exceptional communication abilities coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Superior organizational and time management capabilities.
- Confident handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Professional demeanor with strong executive presence.
- Analytical problem-solving approach with a proactive attitude.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
Educational Background and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, or comparable field.
- Between 4 to 7 years' experience within Government Relations, Corporate Affairs, Executive Assistance, Business Coordination, Business Development, or related arenas.
- Prior engagement with Saudi government entities is strongly favored.
- Proven track record supporting senior executives and managing interactions with high-level stakeholders.
