Business Cards and Merchant Specialist

About the Role

Join the dynamic Business Cards and Merchant team at Kiwibank, located in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. In this full-time, onsite position, you will play a vital role in managing business credit card and merchant services, providing tailored customer support, and ensuring compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries and case management through phone, email, and the Service Now Dashboard.
• Analyze products and recommend banking solutions aligned with clients' specific needs.
• Conduct fraud investigations, manage documentation, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with PCI and credit policies.
• Evaluate applications, complete contractual agreements, and verify compliance requirements.
• Establish and maintain business credit card accounts and respond to related queries.
• Process maintenance requests for Business Cards, Merchant accounts, and Direct Debit Services.
• Communicate daily updates regarding status, approval processes, and timelines to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in banking sectors such as contact centers, branches, or banking operations is preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail with capabilities to investigate discrepancies, evaluate risk, and make well-informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills alongside the ability to manage workload independently.
