About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with 8 to 12+ years of expertise to effectively connect business objectives with technology solutions. The candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating both business and functional requirements to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and other requirement-gathering activities.
  • Produce detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, use cases, workflows, and process maps.
  • Evaluate current business workflows and recommend enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive traceability of requirements throughout project phases.
  • Work collaboratively with product owners, project managers, developers, QA professionals, and business stakeholders.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage processes, and business validation tasks.
  • Manage change effectively and ensure alignment of requirements with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and conduct impact analyses.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, use case development, process documentation, requirements traceability, and UAT support.
  • Experience with creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, or functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques such as BPMN, UML, process flow diagrams, or swimlane diagrams.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Usage of documentation and collaboration tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, gap analysis, impact analysis, business process analysis, process improvement, and requirement validation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary business and technical teams.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or ECBA.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with API integrations and systems integration projects.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, or CI/CD concepts.
  • Background in digital transformation, enterprise applications, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Exposure to change management and business process reengineering.
  • Domain experience in sectors like Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Telecom, Retail, Government, or Enterprise IT projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 8 to 12 years of prior experience as a Business Analyst in IT or enterprise projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex requirements across multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Excellent skills in documentation, presentations, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Capability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams effectively.
