IT Team Leader (Arabic Speaker)

Role overview

This position is for a technically strong team lead who can guide day-to-day development work while staying actively involved in coding and delivery. The role centers on coordinating backend, frontend, and mobile teams, keeping projects on track, and making sure outputs meet quality expectations and deadlines. The selected person will work closely with the CTO and senior management to keep the technical direction aligned with business needs.

Nature of the role

• Hands-on leadership position with active participation in engineering work
• Direct involvement with the codebase and development execution
• Responsible for allocating work, monitoring progress, and following up daily
• Focused on delivery quality, technical consistency, and team output
• Reports directly to the CTO and senior management

Key responsibilities

• Distribute development tasks across backend, frontend, and mobile teams
• Monitor progress against milestones and keep delivery on schedule
• Prioritize work based on technical needs and business urgency
• Coordinate with other functions to clear blockers and protect timelines
• Review code regularly to ensure standards and best practices are followed
• Coach developers and provide practical technical support
• Help solve difficult technical issues and assist with troubleshooting
• Make sure engineering work follows the approved architecture and standards
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment flow
• Manage containerized environments using Docker
• Support application reliability, scalability, and performance
• Prepare weekly updates and technical reports for the CTO and management

Technical skills required

• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter for mobile application development
• Backend development and API work using Node.js
• Database design and administration with PostgreSQL
• Frontend web development using React.js
• Working knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with Redis for caching and performance tuning
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and automation
• Practical use of Docker for containers and environment handling
• Experience with TanStack Query for data fetching and state management

Experience and qualifications

The role calls for 7 to 10 years of experience in software development and technical leadership. Candidates should have led mixed development teams covering frontend, backend, and mobile work, and should be comfortable handling development workflows, deployments, and live production environments. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities are essential.
