Role Overview

As a pivotal Business Analyst / UX Consultant for our SaaS product, you'll spearhead the creation of new software features by defining problems, crafting functional concepts, and collaborating closely with development teams. You will analyze intricate construction industry requirements, empathize with users to understand their needs, and translate these into precise specifications for product development. Your work bridges customer demands, business objectives, and technical implementation to generate user-centered solutions delivering genuine value.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative user research and analyze client requirements, data, and processes.
• Define and document functional specifications, business goals, and quality benchmarks.
• Develop concepts for new features, establish use cases, and outline user flows.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to transform concepts into user stories guiding software development.
• Monitor and ensure feature objectives and user relevance are met; identify and report scope or quality deviations during implementation.
• Plan and facilitate workshops internally and with external stakeholders.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and key accounts, and monitor market and competitors to detect emerging needs early.
• Manage stakeholder relations to foster alignment and shared understanding.

Candidate Profile

• Five years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or in Requirements Engineering, preferably within software or SaaS environments.
• Proven expertise in user-centric product development and complex B2B processes.
• Strong aptitude for dissecting complex problems with clear communication.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Design Thinking.
• Experience with user research, workshop moderation, and managing projects and stakeholders.
• Technical understanding related to software development.
• Methodical, analytical, and solutions-driven working style.
• Excellent German skills and good command of English.
