Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Lead the analytical efforts for the Travel Services vertical by collaborating with the central Business Analytics group to ensure alignment on data definitions, standards, and accurate sources, guaranteeing consistency for all stakeholders.
• Convert raw data from various platforms into actionable insights, uncovering growth opportunities spanning regions, market tiers, verticals, and partner categories.
• Formulate evidence-based growth hypotheses and recommendations from complex datasets to inform channel strategies, investment choices, and prioritization.
• Manage complete analytical investigations including data extraction using SQL or reporting tools, hypothesis testing, insight generation, and advising on actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Planning team to transform data-driven insights into scalable projects, establish success metrics, and design market launch strategies.
• Create and maintain rigorous analytical frameworks, including standard metric definitions, validation protocols, and data quality controls to support dependable and consistent reporting.
• Implement continuous feedback loops by measuring results, tracking performance, and integrating learnings into future strategic planning and program frameworks.
• Promote and drive effective application of AI within the vertical by identifying key use cases, conducting pilot programs, resolving implementation challenges, and linking with the central AI team to sustain adoption.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, strategic planning, growth, or operational roles primarily within technology or e-commerce sectors.
• Exhibit strong business acumen with a clear understanding of company operations, performance drivers, and data interpretation.
• Proficient in SQL at a foundational to intermediate level, capable of extracting, joining, and verifying data sets from data warehouses.
• Advanced mastery of analytical tools including Excel or Google Sheets, with expertise in complex formulas, pivot tables, and structured data analysis. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau is an advantage.
• Highly attentive to numerical detail with the ability to detect irregularities, inconsistencies, and issues affecting data quality.
• Demonstrate systematic analytical reasoning and problem-solving aptitude, transitioning from data exploration to insight generation and delivering clear actionable recommendations.
• Experience using AI tools practically in everyday work and the ability to articulate their effective use and benefits to non-technical colleagues.
• Strong communication capabilities to prepare executive summaries, present findings, guide team members in adopting new tools, and adeptly manage stakeholders within complex environments.
