About The Role

The Home Depot Canada’s Askuity division, located in Toronto, is focused on retail analytics to empower suppliers and merchants with data-driven decision-making and real-time execution. As a Supplier Engagement Business Analyst, you will serve as the expert contact for a group of suppliers within the Supplier Analytics program. Your duties include onboarding new suppliers, enhancing their data literacy, and facilitating cooperation between suppliers and internal teams. Strong experience in retail analytics and relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote active participation in the supplier analytics program among users.
  • Recognize areas where suppliers can better generate, analyze, and share data-driven insights.
  • Manage new suppliers' onboarding processes into the analytics program.
  • Provide demonstrations of supplier analytics tools to various stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Product, and Support to build strong relationships, resolve issues, and advocate supplier interests.
  • Create scalable educational content to enhance supplier data literacy and actionable insight generation.
  • Lead projects alongside merchandising partners to standardize supplier reporting expectations, improving business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for user experience escalations.
  • Track and report key performance indicators, including program usage, satisfaction, and business impact by department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A university or college degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in corporate retail, merchandising, supply chain, or retail technology Customer Success roles.
  • Demonstrated use of data to identify actionable business insights.
  • Experience in vendor management or client engagement is advantageous.

Working Conditions and Additional Information

  • Primarily office-based work involving computer use and participation in virtual meetings with camera on.
  • Extended periods of sitting and repetitive tasks are expected.
  • Limited travel required, including annual trips to the corporate headquarters as needed.
  • Reports directly to the Manager of Supplier Engagement.
  • The hiring process involves the use of artificial intelligence to assist with candidate screening, with human oversight maintained throughout.
