Role Overview
This position is for a business analyst focused on the pharmaceutical and healthcare space in Singapore. The role centers on turning commercial and operational data into practical insights that help leaders improve performance, plan effectively, and make informed decisions.
What You Will Do
- Examine business results across sales, margin, inventory, and operational indicators to surface trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Build and refresh dashboards, KPI trackers, and leadership reports that guide day-to-day and strategic decision-making.
- Track actual performance versus budgets and forecasts, then provide clear analysis and recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Study customer trends, buying behavior, and profitability to support growth, retention, and cross-sell initiatives.
- Carry out pricing, product, and commercial analysis to inform business choices.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business case preparation.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other teams to deliver data-led insights and business solutions.
- Maintain high data quality and reporting accuracy while identifying opportunities to automate and streamline processes.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in business analytics, commercial finance, business intelligence, or strategic planning, ideally in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or distribution.
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional business partnering.
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and Power BI; exposure to ERP systems is a plus.
- Solid ability in analysis, financial modelling, problem-solving, and presentations.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to convert data into practical recommendations and strategic direction.
