Position Overview
This role is based in Thane within the Information Technology department of Aditya Birla Capital Limited. The Business Analyst will primarily handle the Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) applications used for retail lending operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full responsibility for change management and maintenance of LOS and LMS applications.
- Publish and manage digital application APIs and web services supporting internal and external integrations.
- Provide comprehensive project status updates, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, coordinating with leadership teams.
- Collaborate with business teams to define technical requirements for LOS and LMS integrations.
- Lead technical development with vendors using agile methodologies, incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Address development and testing queries from partners, ensuring timely go-lives and resolving issues across LMS and related interfaces.
- Implement agile projects in retail business, ensuring adherence to development schedules and technical specifications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of loan lines of business including secured and unsecured loans; products such as CFG, CMG, INFRA, Large Corporate, SCF, LCMM, and corporate loans.
- Analyze business needs, recommend enhancements to products, services, and technology footprint based on market trends.
- Document business requirements and technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and review complex business cases, articulating technology uses, financial analysis, risks, and business strategy alignment.
- Research and communicate emerging industry technologies and promote integration of innovation through proof of concepts.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, regularly reviewing segmentation strategies, fostering new product development, and owning customer success.
- Promote cross-functional teamwork by enabling collaboration and shared resource usage among internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute IT strategy input based on business and technology goals, conducting feasibility studies and escalating risks or opportunities appropriately.
- Manage demand forecasting, user trend analysis, and service expectation management with business units.
- Participate in vendor selection and management, establishing governance, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring service level adherence.
- Establish standards and procedures for projects, monitor sprint progress, resolve development blockers, and prioritize activities.
- Apply agile methodologies ensuring quality, accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
- Oversee product design, testing policies, multiple product release management, risk mitigation, and productivity enhancements.
- Gather and analyze requirements from workflows and end-user perspectives, mediate inconsistencies, and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Design solutions integrating functional and technical architecture with cost, resource, and feasibility considerations.
- Manage change processes ensuring system coherence, issue documentation, and JIRA sprint management for TRM modules.
- Support incident and problem management by developing policies, implementing tools, coordinating resolutions, and documenting outcomes.
- Recommend and implement service level improvements, monitor compliance trends, and address operational disruptions.
- Support planning and budgeting activities with forecasting tools, data analysis, and reporting to leadership.
- Manage contracts aligned with procurement policies, monitor vendor performance, and foster positive vendor relationships.
- Assist in audit processes, disaster recovery, health checks, and business continuity planning.
- Generate reports analyzing development metrics, progress, and project statuses as per set frequencies.
- Ensure project quality and deadlines through detailed planning, monitoring, and output quality reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold either a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related discipline.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in SAP FI modules and configurations; SAP FI certification is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
