Role Overview

The Business Analyst is pivotal in defining a product's objectives, including customer acquisition strategies, value propositions, and KPIs. This role evaluates the best implementation approaches for stakeholders and developers, organizes development planning workshops, validates requirements to align with business goals, and streamlines workflows through continuous stakeholder feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing business models and identify key challenges faced by business owners.
Spot market gaps that can be addressed or expanded upon.
Integrate research findings into detailed business requirements.
Understand product direction and define target market sectors.
Design interaction frameworks between system components and between product and users.
Outline nonfunctional requirements including system behavior, constraints, and quality aspects like usability, security, and scalability.
Compose clear functional requirements understandable to developers and stakeholders.
Create a comprehensive product backlog encompassing all business needs.
Collaborate across teams for story mapping, ensuring alignment with the approved business value.
Define acceptance criteria in consultation with QA and stakeholders.
Prioritize backlog items in coordination with stakeholders.
Facilitate pre-development activities to guarantee sprint plans meet requirements.
Participate in daily scrum meetings to monitor progress and alignment with business goals.
Collect and process feedback from users to identify product strengths and areas for improvement.
Update backlog to reflect ongoing business priorities and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in technology, software development, AI/GenAI, or related fields.
Strong analytical thinking and problem decomposition abilities.
Excellent research and presentation skills to communicate market trends effectively.
Proficiency in analytical techniques such as Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, and SWOT Analysis.
Decision-making skills to balance stakeholder and technical requirements.
Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
Effective collaboration with development and IT teams for solution integration.
Skilled in documentation and visualization, including UML wireframes.
