Overview
This contract role supports the advancement of a major financial institution's Enterprise Real Estate technology platform located in Toronto, ON. The position demands a knowledgeable Business Analyst skilled in workflow-driven enterprise systems, acting as a liaison between real estate stakeholders and tech teams. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into precise functional documentation and optimizing platform workflows.
Contract Details
- Duration: 2 months with potential extension and permanent conversion
- Pay: CAD 37 to 44 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, core business hours with possible overtime; onsite four days a week
- No travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Lead formal business analysis efforts to gather, analyze, and manage requirements across project phases
- Use diverse elicitation methods such as workshops and interviews to clarify and validate needs
- Document current and future state business processes, emphasizing alignment with IBM TRIRIGA best practices
- Act as the primary bridge fostering clear communication between stakeholders and delivery teams
- Provide recommendations for solution design and ensure adherence to platform capabilities
- Identify and manage risks related to requirements and delivery impacts
- Engage in quality assurance activities including test scenario creation and defect tracking
- Operate independently while effectively prioritizing in a complex enterprise environment
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst working on workflow-centric enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with workflow platforms such as IBM TRIRIGA, Pega, or equivalents
- Deep understanding of system workflows including approvals, lifecycle stages, and process flows
- Skilled in distinguishing out-of-the-box functionality from custom solutions
- Exceptional documentation skills producing clear functional and process designs
- Proven ability in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience specifically with IBM TRIRIGA
- Knowledge of Pega or other BPM/case management tools
