Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic technology team focused on delivering innovative analytics and client-facing digital platforms within the financial services sector. This contract position is based in Dublin, requiring three days per week onsite, with an immediate start for a four-month duration.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and define the product vision and roadmap for digital offerings and analytical tools.
- Collaborate effectively with technology departments, business partners, and cross-functional teams to create high-quality, user-centric products and features.
- Lead workshops and meetings to gather data, analyze information, and articulate business requirements thoroughly.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog across various projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate testing phases throughout projects and assist in managing defect resolution.
- Maintain precision, quality, and attention to detail in all project documentation and deliverables.
- Establish and nurture key partner relationships to support project objectives.
- Implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards across all stages of project execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong emphasis on design thinking, with experience in customer journey mapping and enhancing customer experiences.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within defined scope, budget, and schedules.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Minimum of five years' experience in business analysis or product ownership roles.
- Prior experience in digital product or platform development environments.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, including business stakeholders, domain experts, analysts, UX designers, and IT architects.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated success in product delivery and driving business change in previous roles.
Additional Information
This is a 4-month contract role based in Dublin, requiring physical presence in the office three days each week. The compensation is on a day rate basis ranging from €550 to €600. The position invites immediate applications for prospective candidates fitting the criteria.
