Job description

Role overview

Pandora is building a new Asia cluster in Singapore and is hiring an Analyst for Asia Retail & Trade to support this newly formed team. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the position focuses on evaluating retail performance and the store network across Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The purpose of the role is to turn data into practical insights that help guide decisions and improve commercial outcomes.

What you will do

This role is responsible for routine and post-period reporting for the local retail store business. It covers KPI tracking, store benchmarking, report building, revenue forecasting, and analysis of retail promotions, products, and productivity. You will also handle ad hoc analytical requests and help business teams make better decisions through clear reporting and interpretation.

As a business partner to Country Sales Heads and retail leadership, you will tailor reporting and insights to match different levels of data maturity across Asia markets. A key part of the job is converting complex information into straightforward, useful conclusions that can be acted on quickly.

Key responsibilities

The role spans KPI monitoring, commercial commentary, forecasting, promotional analysis, cross-functional support, BI collaboration, and best-practice sharing. You will work closely with retail, sales, finance, merchandising, training, eCommerce, and marketing teams while supporting the adoption and refinement of reporting tools and dashboards.

KPI monitoring and performance reporting

  • Track retail trading KPIs on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis at country, market, store, and transaction level.
  • Prepare and circulate performance reports for Sales Management, Country Sales Heads, and other stakeholders with a strong focus on consistency, accuracy, and clarity.
  • Carry out post-performance reviews to surface trends, deviations, and results against targets or previous periods.

Commercial insights and commentary

  • Develop concise and credible business commentary for regular performance reviews and local discussions.
  • Interpret patterns in the data, identify underlying drivers, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Combine feedback from retail and sales teams with performance data to build well-rounded commentary.

Revenue forecasting

  • Support store-level and daily revenue forecasting across Asia markets.
  • Coordinate with Retail, Finance, and Merchandising teams to collect inputs, challenge assumptions, and improve forecasting models over time.
  • Review forecast versus actual results and perform variance analysis to strengthen forecast accuracy.

Promotions, product, and productivity analysis

  • Assess the results of retail promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to determine their business impact.
  • Support product and assortment analysis to compare store and market performance.
  • Run productivity analysis such as sales per store, per employee, and per hour to identify operational improvement opportunities.

Ad hoc analysis and collaboration

  • Work with the Retail Operations Manager, Sales Management, Country Sales Heads, and teams across Training, Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Prioritize and deliver ad hoc analysis that supports growth opportunities and commercial decisions.

Reporting enablement and BI collaboration

  • Partner with global and regional colleagues to improve centrally managed BI dashboards and reporting tools for non-Finance users.
  • Act as the link between global BI teams and Asia retail teams so local reporting needs are reflected in global outputs.
  • Help local stakeholders use reporting tools effectively.

Best-practice sharing

  • Work with regional and country sales teams to identify top-performing and underperforming stores.
  • Share performance learnings and best practices across markets to support stronger retail results.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 to 6 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or similar role. Experience in retail, consumer, or multi-store environments is highly desirable, especially in a regional or multi-market setting across Asia.

The ideal candidate should be confident in performance reporting, forecasting, and KPI-based analysis, with strong numerical ability and a good understanding of retail economics. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and familiarity with reporting tools and dashboards will be an advantage.

You should be able to translate data into clear recommendations, communicate effectively with different audiences, and balance attention to detail with a strong commercial perspective. Success in this role also calls for strong organization, prioritization, curiosity, confidence, and the ability to work well across cultures and market environments.

Personal qualities

  • Commercially curious and motivated to understand what drives performance.
  • Structured and logical in approach, with solid problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable challenging constructively and influencing through data.
  • A collaborative team player who works well across regions and cultures.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work effectively in uncertain situations.
  • Trusted to act with integrity, accountability, and ownership.
