Job Overview
As a bus driver, you will be responsible for transporting hotel colleagues safely and courteously between their accommodations and the hotel. You will ensure vehicle maintenance, manage logbooks, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor. The role requires cooperation with multiple hotel departments, reporting to the Transportation/Employee Services Manager, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport colleagues between accommodation and hotel reliably and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the bus regularly.
- Manage and update transportation logbooks accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude at all times.
- Report operational updates to the Transportation/Employee Services Manager.
- Address and resolve passenger complaints diplomatically.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage departments as needed.
- Attend scheduled training sessions to stay updated.
- Ensure the vehicle undergoes scheduled maintenance and fuel requirements are met.
- Prepare detailed trip, accident, and incident reports.
- Be well-informed about UAE roads, Dubai landmarks, and local driving regulations.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance when necessary.
- Support management with other tasks during downtime from transportation duties.
- Coordinate with the Transportation Team Leader and adhere to all operational standards and company documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or completion of high school education.
- Between 1 to 3 years of driving experience in 4-5 star hotel environments or within the UAE.
- Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
