About the Role

Take charge of a dedicated and high-achieving Building Compliance team in a full-time leadership position located in Thames. You'll be responsible for managing daily compliance functions, ensuring inspections and enforcement procedures meet high standards throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a close-knit team specializing in Building Compliance
  • Supervise compliance monitoring and enforcement operations
  • Ensure thorough and accurate inspections, including Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) and swimming pool fencing evaluations
  • Adhere to statutory deadlines and compliance mandates
  • Foster productive relationships both internally and externally
  • Promote ongoing improvements and implement practical solutions in processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in building compliance, especially regarding BWOFs and pool fencing legislation

  • Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities
