About the Role
Our client is a prominent, large-scale independent brewery experiencing continual growth and seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Second Brewer to join their team. This position is hands-on and encompasses all stages of beer production, from managing raw materials through to delivering the finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing all brewhouse operations efficiently.
- Overseeing fermentation processes to ensure product quality.
- Managing cellar operations including cleaning and maintenance.
- Handling cask cleaning and racking tasks.
- Conducting filtration and kegging procedures.
- Maintaining strict brewery hygiene standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in commercial brewing environments, with brewing qualifications being advantageous.
- Physical fitness and a high level of motivation to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Preferably familiarity with HACCP and health and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with resilience.
