About the Role

Our client is a prominent, large-scale independent brewery experiencing continual growth and seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Second Brewer to join their team. This position is hands-on and encompasses all stages of beer production, from managing raw materials through to delivering the finished product.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing all brewhouse operations efficiently.
• Overseeing fermentation processes to ensure product quality.
• Managing cellar operations including cleaning and maintenance.
• Handling cask cleaning and racking tasks.
• Conducting filtration and kegging procedures.
• Maintaining strict brewery hygiene standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in commercial brewing environments, with brewing qualifications being advantageous.
• Physical fitness and a high level of motivation to meet the demands of the role.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Preferably familiarity with HACCP and health and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with resilience.
