Role Overview
The Brand Relations Manager for the East Coast oversees sales growth, manages channel profit and loss, and nurtures client relationships across multiple states to meet the objectives of Casio's Timepiece Division. The position requires overseeing retail execution, expanding distribution, and achieving key monthly KPIs to drive accelerated long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy that aligns with market trends and drives sell-through performance.
- Define go-to-market approaches tailored for product categories and consumer segments to ensure optimal product placement.
- Identify new business possibilities, expand distribution channels, and lead negotiations involving terms, space, allocation, and P&L with retail partners.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with retail buyers and key accounts through regular engagement.
- Conduct in-person and B2B site selling with accurate reporting.
- Manage omnichannel initiatives ensuring brand consistency, proper assortment, and marketing fund allocation maximizing ROI.
- Perform store visits to assess performance, ensure compliance with brand standards, optimize merchandising, and secure prominent brand positioning.
- Provide in-store training to sales associates to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Develop a 1-3 year revenue growth plan for each retailer with clear KPIs and maintain a robust CRM database.
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor behavior, and customer insights to inform sales and product strategies.
- Provide precise forecasting, reporting, and management updates on performance.
- Ensure inventory allocation and replenishment are planned and communicated effectively.
- Collaborate with retailers on event planning, product launches, promotions, and work with the PR team on marketing initiatives.
- Represent Casio at trade shows, dealer events, and industry gatherings.
- Drive brand engagement across retail partner social media channels.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to enhance regional results.
- Manage territory operations including travel (approximately 70%), budgets, reporting, and administrative duties.
- Execute any additional management-assigned duties relevant to business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of successful luxury sales experience with demonstrated target achievement and familiarity with luxury distribution.
- Strong relationship-building aptitude with multi-channel retail experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills, and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Self-motivated and able to independently manage a broad regional territory.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Excel, and AI tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the East Coast region.
Location and Work Environment
This position is hybrid and requires at least three days per week onsite at the Jersey City, NJ office.
Physical Requirements
