Job description
About YoungLA For Her
YoungLA For Her is the women’s division of YoungLA, a rapidly expanding fitness and lifestyle brand with a strong global presence. Created for women who train with intention, live actively, and express themselves with confidence, the brand has grown into a thriving community centered on fitness, style, and individuality. As the business scales, it is investing in the partnerships, systems, and people needed to support the next phase of growth.
Role Overview
The Talent & Partnerships Manager will lead the athlete, creator, ambassador, and user-generated content ecosystem for YoungLA For Her. The position focuses on developing the relationships that fuel brand visibility, content output, community expansion, and customer growth. This person will identify emerging talent, nurture long-term partnerships, and help shape how the brand appears within the women’s fitness and lifestyle space.
This is a hybrid-style role in the sense that it requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution, but it is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with a sharp eye for talent, a solid understanding of the women’s fitness and wellness market, and the ability to create authentic partnerships that contribute to brand growth and lasting value.
Talent Recruitment & Partnership Strategy
- Take ownership of the daily management of the athlete, creator, ambassador, and partnership portfolio, ensuring each partner has a high-quality experience.
- Source, recruit, onboard, and develop relationships with athletes, creators, ambassadors, managers, agents, and other key contacts that fit the brand.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of talent by continuously identifying up-and-coming creators and partnership opportunities before competitors do.
- Create and roll out a structured micro-influencer seeding approach to boost awareness and support launches through organic reach.
- Design social-first partnership ideas that use athlete and creator relationships to grow awareness and community engagement.
- Review the partnership portfolio on a regular basis and recommend which relationships should be retained, expanded, reactivated, or ended based on brand fit, results, and business impact.
Athlete & Creator Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for all athletes, creators, and ambassadors.
- Handle negotiations, deliverables, renewals, and ongoing communication for partnership agreements.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of contracts, product shipments, campaign participation, performance data, and relationship history.
- Develop durable partnerships that deepen loyalty, advocacy, and engagement while making sure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
UGC & Creator Program Development
- Build and expand the brand’s UGC creator program to support brand, ecommerce, and performance marketing goals.
- Develop creator plans that align with product launch timelines, content priorities, and broader business objectives.
- Manage creator briefs, product seeding, content submissions, asset collection, and usage-rights coordination.
- Implement proactive product seeding plans tied to launches, campaigns, community initiatives, and seasonal priorities.
- Create clear pathways that move creators from seeding into ambassador roles, campaign work, and longer-term partnerships.
- Work closely with Creative, Social, Ecommerce, Product Development, and Inventory teams so partnership work is operationally realistic and supports campaign needs.
Events & Community Activations
- Coordinate athlete and creator involvement in events, pop-ups, product launches, and brand activations.
- Support ambassador programs and community initiatives that strengthen the brand’s presence in women’s fitness, wellness, and lifestyle circles.
- Spot opportunities for partnerships that can increase brand visibility, community participation, and customer acquisition.
Partnership Performance & Budget Management
- Monitor partnership outcomes, return on investment, and creator engagement across athlete, creator, ambassador, and UGC programs.
- Maintain reporting, talent databases, and budget tracking for athlete contracts, product seeding, activations, gifting, and creator spend.
- Track market trends, competitor partnerships, and emerging talent, and use those insights to improve strategy and investment decisions.
- Manage the Talent & Partnerships budget and allocate resources across partnerships, athlete investments, activations, and UGC programs to maximize growth and ROI.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings 2–4+ years of experience in talent management, creator partnerships, influencer marketing, athlete relations, or brand partnerships. They should have a track record of finding, managing, and growing athlete, creator, ambassador, or influencer relationships from first outreach through activation, performance review, and renewal.
You should be comfortable negotiating partnership agreements, overseeing deliverables, and working across multiple stakeholder relationships. A strong understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, and talent ecosystems is important, and experience building or managing UGC, ambassador, or creator programs is preferred.
Deep familiarity with fitness, activewear, wellness, or lifestyle brands is important, along with the ability to identify people and partnership opportunities that fit the brand. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
A successful candidate will be data-oriented, able to assess partnership performance, spot opportunities, and make informed recommendations. They should be proactive, strategic, hands-on, and comfortable building processes, solving problems, and executing in a fast-moving environment. A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, community, and the growth of women’s brands is highly valued.
Compensation
The annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
