Overview
This position, offered on behalf of a client organization, seeks a Brand Marketing Associate Director based in the United States. It represents an opportunity to steer the commercial growth strategy for a progressive healthcare product lineup within a fast-paced biotechnology sector. The associate director will lead integrated marketing efforts aimed at boosting awareness, engagement, and adoption among key healthcare audiences by translating scientific insights into compelling brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies including disease education, messaging frameworks, promotional content, and educational initiatives.
- Drive the development of patient engagement strategies while collaborating with agency partners for integrated omnichannel marketing executions.
- Develop market access approaches, value propositions, and promotional assets in conjunction with internal teams.
- Design and implement tactical campaigns across digital platforms, healthcare networks, hospitals, and integrated delivery entities to raise brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
- Work alongside sales training to prepare product-focused educational resources and enablement tools.
- Partner with analytics professionals to develop measurement dashboards, presentations, and tools assessing campaign performance and business impact.
- Coordinate with medical, legal, and regulatory departments to oversee promotional review processes ensuring compliance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, agencies, and external vendors.
- Manage marketing budgets by monitoring expenditures and optimizing resource allocation to support business objectives.
- Contribute to strategic, cross-functional projects advancing commercial growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree favored.
- Minimum of 8 years in commercial and/or marketing roles, with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
- Experience launching or overseeing specialty, oncology, rare disease, or biotech products.
- Proven expertise in creating marketing strategies and executing integrated promotional plans.
- Skilled in managing external agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex commercial challenges and deliver strategic insights.
- In-depth knowledge of omnichannel marketing approaches, customer engagement tactics, and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems, distribution channels, and sales environments preferred.
- Excellent leadership prowess, communication, presentation, and team collaboration within matrixed organizations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel exceeding 30% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
