Role overview
This position is focused on accelerating PUMA India’s Running and Training business while deepening the brand’s presence in sports culture and community spaces. The role reports to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager.
What you will do
- Plan and deliver integrated brand campaigns and marketing programs that strengthen brand desire, improve consumer connection, and support business expansion.
- Take ownership of the yearly brand marketing roadmap, making sure it stays aligned with global brand direction, local priorities, and important commercial periods.
- Design and execute large-scale brand experiences such as events, pop-ups, retail activations, and community-led initiatives that leave a strong consumer impression.
- Develop, maintain, and expand the on-ground community through ongoing engagement activities, events, athlete and influencer partnerships, and grassroots programs.
- Identify and build partnerships with creators, communities, and cultural platforms that improve relevance and widen brand reach.
- Carry out detailed analysis of the business, consumer behavior, and market trends to turn insights into marketing actions.
- Track campaign and business performance, interpret results, and apply learnings to future plans.
- Handle agency and vendor management, marketing budgets, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders across merchandising, content, sales, ecommerce, and retail to ensure strong execution and outcomes.
Experience and skills needed
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience is required, with preference for backgrounds in sports, fitness, or events.
- Hands-on experience in building brand experiences and community programs, along with strong creative thinking ability.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Capability to analyze marketing activity and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Comfort with budget ownership and vendor coordination.
- Proven ability to manage influencer programs and execute consumer activations from start to finish.
- Strong execution discipline, with the ability to stay accountable under pressure and manage timelines and budgets carefully.
- Good command of PowerPoint and Excel, plus the ability to communicate clearly in briefs, presentations, and live discussions with teams, influencers, and retail partners.
