About the Company
Beauty Barrage operates as a strategic sales management partner for beauty brands, supporting in-store teams throughout North America. Its brand ambassadors work across major retail doors such as Sephora, ULTA, Bluemercury, and other leading beauty retailers. The organization has a network of more than 200 beauty professionals supporting over 3,000 doors in the U.S. and Canada, and has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies.
Role Overview
The Brand Executive is a field leadership position focused on improving sell-through, strengthening brand visibility, and expanding market presence within an assigned territory. In this role, you act as the main brand representative and sales lead for designated beauty brands, guiding field staff to deliver strong execution across sales visits, events, and activations.
You will work closely with retail partners, internal field teams, and company leadership to execute brand strategies in stores, raise execution standards, and produce consistent, trackable business outcomes. The role calls for a strong sales mindset, relationship-building ability, and solid beauty-industry knowledge, along with the confidence to drive accountability and high team performance in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve sales outcomes and product sell-through across the territory by supporting retail partners and field teams with practical sales strategies.
- Track performance against KPIs, spot areas needing improvement, and put corrective actions in place when needed.
- Take ownership of all territory events, including planning, execution, and completion of post-event follow-ups and deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and support field team members so they consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Hold individuals and the team accountable for KPIs such as sales results, training completion, communication standards, and policy compliance.
- Carry out regular store visits, observations, and check-ins to assess execution quality and team performance.
- Provide timely, specific, and useful coaching and feedback to help close performance gaps.
- Oversee the filling of open roles in the territory by helping place qualified talent quickly.
- Work with internal partners to resolve performance issues and support corrective action plans.
- Promote a high-engagement, high-accountability culture while keeping morale strong.
- Build productive relationships with store managers, district leaders, and brand partners.
- Serve as an escalation point for store-level issues or brand concerns and help drive resolution.
- Represent the company and the brand professionally in all internal and external interactions.
- Reinforce product education, selling techniques, and brand knowledge across the field team.
- Support learning initiatives so staff remain prepared, compliant, and confident in representing the brand.
- Join live education calls for assigned brands and complete LMS coursework accurately within the required timelines.
- Prepare and submit reports on time, including recaps, insights, and performance feedback.
- Share trends, opportunities, and risks with internal leadership in a clear and timely manner.
- Coordinate closely with scheduling, education, and account teams to maintain smooth cross-functional communication.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of management experience in the beauty industry is required.
- Strong familiarity with retailer environments in the beauty space.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales, coaching teams, and rolling out brand strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional, polished, and brand-appropriate presence.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
Physical and Schedule Requirements
- Own a vehicle and be able to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Be available for flexible hours, including weekends when business demands require it.
- Work a full 40-hour schedule supporting brands in stores during the month of December.
- Be able to stand for long periods during store visits and events.
- Be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Company Values
- Success-minded and committed to exceeding expectations.
- Enthusiastic about the work and energized by what the company does.
- Focused on continuous improvement and not attached to the status quo.
- Treat the role as a long-term career rather than a short-term assignment.
- Comfortable working through complexity and fast-moving situations.
- Supportive of teammates and eager to celebrate shared wins.
- Committed to doing the right thing with accountability and transparency.
