Job description

About the Brand

Strawberry Paris positions itself as an ultra-luxury boho romance label, drawing inspiration from the ease of Zimmermann and the classic femininity of Chloé. The brand creates sunlit, feminine collections with refined craftsmanship and a travel-ready sensibility, using premium materials and top-quality factories to evoke a Parisian getaway mood. As the company expands internationally, it is seeking a high-energy, performance-focused leader to work closely with the CEO as Brand Director.

Role Overview

In this position, you will report directly to the CEO and act as a core operator responsible for daily execution across the business. The role spans wholesale growth, marketing execution, production oversight, and broader operational management across multiple channels. It is intended for someone who thrives on turning ambitious plans into measurable outcomes in a fast-scaling luxury fashion business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own wholesale revenue growth by recruiting, training, coaching, and improving sales staff performance; monitor key metrics, shape growth plans from data, add new accounts, manage trade show schedules, and strengthen long-term client partnerships to drive repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on brand-building initiatives such as paid media, influencer partnerships, celebrity visibility, and content development to increase e-commerce sales, strengthen awareness, and widen global reach.
  • Oversee apparel production and manufacturing by sourcing and coordinating with leading factories worldwide, guiding product development from concept through completion, maintaining strict timelines, and ensuring samples, prototypes, and sales assets are delivered to a high standard.
  • Lead major projects and office administration, including CRM rollout, automation setup, and systems for sales and customer service, while keeping everyday operations organized and moving efficiently.
  • Handle core financial processes, including shipping, accounts receivable, returns and refunds, accounts payable, collections, and cash flow, while producing reliable reporting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
  • Support operational decision-making and strategic planning by monitoring expenses, offering practical recommendations, and serving as the CEO’s main partner on growth and execution.
  • Contribute to expansion planning by helping develop franchise and partnership opportunities and identifying locations for future retail presence in markets that align with the brand’s romantic luxury aesthetic.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strong, high-performing leader who can produce results quickly. You should bring at least 3 years of experience in operations leadership, executive strategy, or senior support roles within luxury fashion, wholesale, or e-commerce, with added value for experience in boho, feminine, or premium apparel. You should be comfortable working across both creative and commercial functions, from marketing and brand promotions to sourcing, development, and quality control.

Skills and Tools

Strong candidates will be comfortable with data analysis, revenue growth planning, client acquisition, process improvement, CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, automation tools such as Zapier, financial systems like QuickBooks or ERP platforms, and project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com. The role also requires exceptional organization, discretion, precision, and calm decision-making under pressure, along with a leadership style that is approachable and results-oriented.

Education and Language Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field is required. Fluent English is mandatory, and French or another language is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Perks

The position includes a base salary of $60,000 to $70,000, plus performance-linked upside. Quarterly bonuses are estimated at $1,000 to $4,000, though they are not guaranteed. There is also a guaranteed annual bonus of $1,000, with potential growth up to $5,000 based on performance, and a performance-based profit share with potential earnings of $4,000 to $15,000, depending on results.

For exceptional performance, total estimated compensation may reach $80K–$100K+ in the first year and $100K–$150K in year two. Additional benefits include a generous product allowance, invitations to fashion events, travel for factory visits and market research, a remote-friendly setup, and access to the company’s Los Angeles office hub. The company also offers a professional development budget, mentorship from industry leaders, and guaranteed raises every 6 months for strong performers. No bonus is guaranteed; all variable compensation depends on performance. The role is described as offering rapid growth potential.

Application Notes

Applicants are asked to submit a resume, a short cover letter describing their strongest growth achievement and their interest in boho luxury, and to include “Brand Director” in the email subject line. The hiring team emphasizes that this is a core leadership role within a building phase for the company.
