About the Role
This internship opportunity is designed for a curious and data-driven individual passionate about enhancing brand marketing effectiveness through precise measurement and optimization. The intern will collaborate with the brand, digital, events, and communications teams (including PR and social media) to track marketing performance across various channels, aid reporting processes, and drive informed marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of brand campaigns across both digital and traditional media.
- Monitor and analyze campaign outcomes across owned, paid, and earned channels.
- Track essential metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions to assess campaign success.
- Support ongoing brand health monitoring, post-campaign assessments, and creation of performance dashboards.
- Identify significant patterns, insights, and areas for campaign improvement based on data analysis.
- Contribute ideas and help produce content tailored for social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics and platform insights to analyze website, social media, and email campaign metrics.
- Assist with A/B testing for creative assets, messaging, and content formats to optimize performance.
- Compare current campaign results against historical benchmarks and industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations communicating data-driven insights to internal teams.
- Translate complex data into understandable narratives suitable for diverse audiences.
- Provide support for ad hoc analysis pertaining to product launches, activations, and special marketing campaigns.
- Support the execution of marketing and communication activities for internal and external events, including logistics coordination like registration, vendor management, materials preparation, and onsite setup.
- Assist with onsite event operations such as managing registration desks, guest interactions, and gathering feedback through post-event surveys.
- Collaborate with brand, digital, media, and agency partners to establish clear KPIs and streamline reporting requirements.
- Help maintain data accuracy, tracking standards, and tagging frameworks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a general degree or diploma, ideally with focus in Marketing or New Media.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and social media analytics tools, with familiarity of CRM or event management platforms considered advantageous.
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing channels and customer journey funnels.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of thriving under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey insights clearly and practically.
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, hands-on attitude, willing to support onsite event activities when necessary.
- Comfortable juggling various priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Simplified Chinese is a plus.
- Able to start on short notice and commit full-time for 4 to 6 months.
