Position Overview

We seek a Part-Time Brand Ambassador to promote GEHA's health and dental insurance plans. This role involves educating federal employees and retirees about their benefit options while working primarily remotely with occasional local event attendance.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEHA at local health fairs and wellness events.
• Provide clear information about GEHA’s medical and dental insurance plans to federal employees and retirees.
• Serve as a trusted health benefits resource within the community.
• Distribute educational materials, address inquiries, and simplify health benefits understanding.
• Travel locally when required, with mileage reimbursed and paid time for event participation.

Qualifications

• Personable and able to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Confident in delivering presentations in both informal and formal environments.
• Eager to learn about health insurance and GEHA’s offerings.
• Self-motivated, organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently.
• Proficient with basic technology tools including email, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

Additional Requirements

• Part-time independent contractor position.
• Remote-first with field presence at in-person events.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and clear background checks for federal facility access.
• Home office must have dedicated, interruption-free space to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• High-speed non-cellular internet with minimum 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds and latency under 80 ms. Hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet are not permitted.

Compensation and Employment Conditions

Salary details are considered on a case-by-case basis reflecting role scope, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. The hiring range and maximum salary are determined internally with opportunities for advancement based on performance.
