Role Summary

This full-time position based in Addis Ababa involves managing daily branch operations to ensure smooth service delivery and strict adherence to internal and regulatory standards. The officer will lead deposit mobilization efforts by identifying new prospective clients, marketing deposit products effectively, and fostering relationships with both existing and potential customers.

Daily responsibilities encompass addressing customer inquiries, overseeing transaction processes, collaborating with branch staff to resolve operational challenges, and generating periodic reports detailing branch performance and deposit growth. Additionally, the officer will aid in cross-selling banking products and contribute towards achieving branch goals through exceptional client interaction and operational efficiency.

• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to build client relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Analytical competence and financial acumen to evaluate customer needs, analyze trends in deposits, and support informed financial decisions.
• Experience in operations management to oversee branch workflows, maintain service excellence, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Background in banking or financial services, especially in branch operations or deposit mobilization, is highly valued.
• Preferred educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant disciplines.
• Demonstrated dedication to customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with basic computer software, banking systems, and knowledge of mortgage or retail banking products is beneficial.
