Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual aspiring to develop their career in the agricultural sector as a Branch Assistant based at our New Ross branch in County Wexford. Reporting to the Area Manager, the successful candidate will support the daily operations of the branch, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, prompt, and friendly service to customers, maintaining a strong customer focus.
• Establish and cultivate trustful relationships with customers, offering knowledgeable advice and support.
• Gain and utilize an in-depth understanding of our product selections and services.
• Manage various branch operational tasks ensuring smooth functioning.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for the shop, yard, and workplace to create positive first impressions.
• Perform duties both in the retail shop and yard/store environment as required.

• Genuine interest in the agricultural industry.
• Affable and outgoing personality paired with excellent customer service skills and the ambition to exceed customer expectations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Competent in working effectively both in a team and independently.
• Able to multitask efficiently while consistently delivering high quality work in a busy setting.
• Proficient IT skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Background or experience in agriculture or farming.
• Possession of a forklift driving license.
