About OPERATORS Collective
OPERATORS Collective serves as a board, advisory, and investment network dedicated to founders in industrial technology sectors including maritime, ocean, energy, and supply chain. The collective unites operators, board members, and investors to collaborate directly with founders on commercial strategies, product validation, capital planning, and market execution.
Role Overview
We are expanding our board and advisory presence in Hamburg and across Europe, focusing on one of the largest maritime hubs globally. We seek a senior professional to join as a board or advisory member for a company within our network.
Candidate Criteria
Candidates are assessed against six qualifications and must meet at least two:
- Minimum 10 years of executive-level expertise with a global network in maritime, supply chain, energy, or ocean industries.
- Previous or current experience serving on startup boards or advisory boards, with insights into effective governance practices.
- Completion of at least one recognized board education program.
- Experience as an entrepreneur or intrapreneur, having founded a startup or established a new business unit within a larger organization.
- Strong technical expertise with over 7 years in specialized fields such as robotics, IoT, coatings, or AI.
- Extensive functional expertise spanning more than 10 years in areas like B2B sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, strategy, operations, or procurement.
