About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant specializing in blue-collar staffing to join our expanding team located in Perth. This position offers the chance to lead and develop an established recruitment desk, assisting prominent mining, civil, construction, infrastructure, and industrial clients in Western Australia with securing top-quality talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for diverse blue-collar positions such as Mobile Plant Operators (including Loaders, Graders, Dozers, Excavators, Rollers), Civil Construction Personnel (Labourers, Concreters, Drainers), Trades and Trade Assistants (Electricians, BMW, Riggers, Drillers), Fixed Plant Maintenance Personnel (HD Fitters, Mechanical Fitters), and Workshop & Shutdown Workforce (Storepersons, Service Technicians).
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships throughout Western Australia.
- Source, evaluate, and interview candidates to ensure high suitability.
- Manage onboarding, mobilisation, and compliance for new hires.
- Develop and sustain talent pools and workforce pipelines.
- Perform reference verifications and candidate evaluations.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects.
- Meet individual and team recruitment targets.
- Keep accurate documentation using CRM and recruitment platforms.
Candidate Profile
- Proven agency recruitment or labour hire experience focused on the blue-collar sector is essential.
- Successful track record filling roles in mining, civil, construction, industrial, trades, operator, or maintenance sectors.
- In-depth understanding of the workforce landscape in Western Australia and access to top talent sources.
- Capability to handle multiple vacancies and manage client relationships while delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative recruitment communication skills.
- Strong abilities in sourcing, networking, and headhunting; familiarity with JobAdder is advantageous.
- Proactive, commercially aware mindset with ambition to expand your portfolio and advance your career.
