Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Blood Bank Technician to work in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The candidate will oversee various blood bank operations, including blood collection, preparation of blood components, compatibility testing, and management of blood inventory, while ensuring adherence to established quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility assessments.
- Carry out separation and processing of blood components.
- Manage blood collection, conduct screening, storage, and distribution of blood and its components.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation within the blood bank.
- Comply with NABH and NACO guidelines along with other quality protocols.
- Operate and maintain various blood bank equipment effectively.
- Manage donor records and documentation related to transfusions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a blood bank setting with familiarity in standard blood bank procedures and regulatory compliance.
