Role Overview
Abell Pest Control is hiring a Bird and Wildlife Technician in London, Ontario. This position is suited to someone who enjoys learning, solving problems in the field, and working in a role that blends service, sales, and hands-on wildlife control. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will manage an assigned territory each month and perform inspections and treatments for a wide range of client sites, including restaurants, food processing facilities, warehouses, office buildings, and homes. Work will include installing bird deterrent systems such as netting and grid wire, removing small animals like squirrels, raccoons, and possums, identifying bird-control concerns, and recommending or selling services to prospective clients. You will also install one-way doors and carry out permanent exclusion methods, while helping generate new business through sales efforts.
Compensation and Benefits
The role includes a base salary with high commissions for new business and monthly bonuses for service work completed. Requirements
Applicants should have a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record. Experience with exclusion work or general maintenance is considered an asset, as is prior sales experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills and previous customer service experience are important. Candidates must also be willing to obtain an Applicator’s Licence.

The posted base pay range is $44,365 to $49,035, and the position qualifies for incentive bonus and commission in addition to base salary.
